Services of the forensic medicine/outpatient clinic for victims
The Institute of Forensic Medicine at Münster University Hospital, Violence Victims' Outpatient Clinic offers unbureaucratic help for people who have been victims of violence:
- competent advice from specially trained doctors
- Documentation of injuries that can be used in court
- Preservation of traces and evidence
All information is treated confidentially. The employees are bound to secrecy. If required (e.g. in the event of a subsequent court hearing), forensic medical reports can be drawn up on the basis of the findings to interpret the injuries.
