Accommodation and care of refugees of the City of Münster - Social Welfare Office
At the Social Welfare Office, we take care of the accommodation of refugees and provide them with support and advice while they are living in Münster. We also help people or entire families who are emotionally distressed, have experienced or are currently experiencing violence. We then put them in touch with contact persons and provide information about facilities they can turn to.
Who we advise

Our target group includes children (up to 13 years), adolescents (from 14 years), young adults (16-21 years), adults (from 18 years) who are experiencing or have experienced domestic violence, relatives, friends and professionals.
We are a facility run by the state and local authorities.
Membership of the network:
Working Group on the Protection against Violence Act Münster, Working Group 'Against Violence against Women and Girls'.
What we advise on
We advise and support refugees during their arrival and integration process in Münster.
How we advise
We provide advice in the form of personal counseling, telephone counseling, emergency accommodation and short-term help (including acute crises/emergencies).
Languages, accessibility and costs
Advice in other languages/interpreting support is currently available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, Russian and Armenian.
We have wheelchair access.
