Chance e.V. - Victim counseling
Chance e.V. is a specialist counseling center that advises and supports victims of violent crimes from Münster and the Münsterland region. In addition to confidential counseling, our services also include psychosocial trial support in accordance with § 406 g StGB. This means that in the district court of Münster, we are allowed to accompany victims during questioning and during the main hearing of criminal proceedings. This service is free of charge.
Who we advise
Women, men, trans*, non-binary, inter*.
Our target groups are:
Children (up to 13 years), young people (from 14 years), young adults (16-21 years), adults (from 18 years), victims, people who have experienced violence, relatives.
We are an independent organization/our own association.
Membership in the network:
Working group 'Against violence against women and girls', round table against sexual violence against children and young people in Münster
What we advise on
Our main topics are domestic violence, physical violence, sexualized violence, stalking, homophobic and trans*phobic violence.
How we advise
We provide counseling in the form of personal counseling, trial support, crisis intervention, psychosocial trial support, telephone counseling, anonymous counseling, further education/training of multipliers, long-term help
