Counseling center for the women's shelter (Frauenhausberatungsstelle)
Domestic violence against women is all too often a taboo subject. Our services are therefore aimed at women* who experience physical, sexual, psychological or economic violence at home or are affected by stalking. We provide advice and information about legal options and accompany you to court and the police. We provide support in stressful situations and help to find a safe place in a women's shelter. We respect the individual wishes of every woman*. Our advice is free of charge and strictly confidential.
Who we advise
We advise women*, trans*, non-binary, inter* people aged 16 and over who are affected by domestic violence, forced marriage or stalking, as well as their relatives, friends and professionals.
We are an independent organization/own association.

Working Group on the Protection against Violence Act Münster, Working Group 'Against Violence against Women and Girls'.
What we advise on
We focus on domestic violence, psychological violence, physical violence, sexualized violence, stalking and crisis counselling.
How we advise
We provide advice in the form of personal counseling, telephone counseling, anonymous counseling, group offers, process support, crisis intervention, further education/training of multipliers and offer short-term help (also acute crisis/emergency).
Languages, accessibility and costs
Advice in other languages/interpreting support is available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Polish, Turkish, Bulgarian, Farsi and Ukrainian and in other languages on request.
We do not have direct wheelchair access, but appointments can be made in an accessible room by prior arrangement.
