Caritas Münster, Psychosocial Support During Legal Proceedings

Psychosocial legal support is a particularly intensive form of support provided before, during, and after the main court hearing. Our services include counseling and support for survivors of violent and sexual crimes.

Who we serve

Women, men, trans, non-binary, and intersex individuals of all ages who have experienced violence, as well as their family members

We are an independently operated counseling center.

Network membership:

Münster Working Group on the Protection Against Violence Act, Working Group “Against Violence Against Women and Girls”

What we advise on

Our primary areas of focus are domestic violence, physical violence, sexual violence, stalking, and homophobic and transphobic violence

How We Provide Counseling

We offer counseling in the form of in-person counseling, process support, psychosocial process support, crisis intervention, telephone counseling, and anonymous counseling, and we provide informational materials for professionals and anyone else who is interested.

Languages, Accessibility, and Costs

Our counseling services are provided in German.

Our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
