Zartbitter Münster e.V. (Counseling center against sexualized violence)
Zartbitter advises people aged 14 and over who have experienced or are still experiencing sexualized violence. We advise people with and without disabilities. Our services are aimed at young people aged 14 and over and adults, their relatives, caregivers and professionals. We offer counseling, groups, prevention and training. On request, we support those affected up to the age of 27 during court proceedings. People with hearing impairments can be advised in German sign language.

Our target group are children from the age of 5 (exclusively with disabilities), adolescents (from the age of 14) and adults (from the age of 18) who are victims of sexualized violence or have experienced sexualized violence in childhood and adolescence, as well as relatives, friends and professionals.
We are an independent organization. The counseling center is run by the non-profit association Zartbitter Münster e.V.

What we advise on
We advise on sexualized violence in childhood and adolescence.
How we advise
We provide counseling in the form of personal counseling, group offers, crisis intervention, psychosocial process support, online counseling. We offer further education/training for multipliers, couple/relationship counseling for heterosexual couples, couple/relationship counseling for homosexual couples, information/information material (generally for all interested parties and specifically for professionals) and advice on the supplementary help system (Sexual Abuse Fund).
Counseling can take place anonymously.
For schools, institutions for the disabled and professionals, we have a variety of prevention and further training offers.
Languages, accessibility and costs
Counseling is available in sign language (DGS, LBG) and in English. (Interpreting costs for external interpreters for other languages must be covered in some cases)
We have wheelchair access.
Our counseling services are free of charge. Prevention and training services are subject to a charge.
We are happy to receive donations.
